Photography has long been a passion of mine. I remember spending time in the forests, parks, or sailing while my dad shot frame after frame. Most of the time I was just checking out the places we ended up. I, by no means, am a professional. There is no formal education, just years of photographing the world as I see it.
Recently I made the transition to digital and found myself rejuvenated in finding the simplest beauty in some of the most common places. I still carry my Nikon FG SLR with my new Nikon D80. Nikon has proved faithful through some of the toughest environments ( I carried my FG through three combat zones and countless field exercises in the Army) and will continue to carry a Nikon where ever I go.
My latest adventure involves a beautiful wife, Suzanne, and my newest daughter AlyKat. Along with my two step daughters and step son there is a whole world to photograph again and again. It is my hope to convey the hope and beauty of the world in my photography.
